Services and Pricing

For all euthanasia packages, Dr. Cate provides a gentle and compassionate passing for your dog or cat in the comfort and privacy of your home. All packages include travel within service area and medications. Cremation and Aftercare services are provided with the Crossing and Reflections packages, depending on your aftercare wishes.  

HOPE PACKAGE  $400

This option includes humane euthanasia for your pet at home, and is available for clients who do not wish to have their pet cremated with us. You may prefer home burial or choose to coordinate outside cremation with the crematorium of your choice. Please check your local ordinances on home burial requirements.

CROSSING PACKAGE  $550

This option includes humane euthanasia for your pet at home, and is ideal for families who do not wish to have ashes returned to them. A dignified communal cremation is performed at Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services in Troy, and your pet's ashes will be buried on the scenic grounds of Whispering Pines Pet Cemetery in Ypsilanti Township. 

REFLECTIONS PACKAGE  $800

This option includes humane euthanasia for your pet at home, private cremation for your pet, a beautiful cherry wood urn with custom laser engraving, and a clay paw print of your pet. Additional claw paw prints are available for $50. Cremation services are performed by Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services in Troy. Your pet will be transported for cremation after the visit. You will be contacted by a Faithful Companion Representative to schedule a time for your pet's ashes to be delivered directly to your home. 

​ADDITIONAL FEES

There is a surcharge ranging from $50 to $150 for euthanasia of large dogs over 90 pounds, after-hours, weekend, or holiday appointments, and extended travel beyond our standard service area. Please contact us for more details.

For those choosing cremation, your pet will be respectfully transported to Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services in Troy following the appointment. You can rest assured that your pet will receive the utmost care and respect throughout the entire cremation process.

Our Crossing Package is designed for those who choose not to have their pet's remains returned. Instead, their ashes will be laid to rest at the serene Whispering Pines Pet Cemetery in Ypsilanti Township. The cemetery is open to visitors who wish to pay their respects at their pet's final resting place.

Opting for our Reflections Package includes private cremation, where your pet's remains will be individually handled and placed in a beautiful cherry wood urn with personalized laser engraving. Your pets ashes will be returned to your home by a Faithful Companion representative on a day and time of your choosing. Details for engraving can be discussed during your appointment scheduling.
